NGTLIC has successfully negotiated and secured its gas allocation from the National Iranian Gas Corporation (NIGC) for delivery in 2011. This is by far the most difficult component of the package to obtain. As such the company has entered into a contract agreement with the NIGC, which would lead to a long term gas contract based on the gas price formula set by the government. In this agreement 165,000 cubic meters of gas per hour (over 3.5 million cubic meters per day) has been secured for the plant.
